Did you not pay attention to the terrible vanilla story? They don't have time to explain. They don't even have time to explain why they don't have time to explain.
She did not, at the time. However, they now have another 7 years in which they COULD explain. They just have to choose to do it.
You don't think it'd be cheesy to bring her back like Gjallarhorn? Like how would that work? She just pops up & says "can I have my gun back? We need to fight again, but first, here's some exposition."
Edited by EternalAzhrei: 6/30/2017 1:24:31 PMYou're right, that would be cheesy. But it all depends on how they do it. For example, discovering bits and pieces that lead us to her rather than her popping in would be a much better approach. Let me paint a picture: We're in a Vex stronghold. We defeat a boss, gather the information we're there for, and discover that they are planning raids into a certain sector of the reef. We make plans to inspect that sector, and while we're there we discover a Vex incursion into a specific derelict Fallen vessel. We fight again, repelling their attack, and discover a crew of Awoken and Exo who are without ghosts. Of course there's a conversation, maybe about how they survived out there so long, what they're doing there, and about the strange non-vex anomalous signals coming from their "station". That's when they receive a message on a radio, and pull back through time the Exo Stranger, and suddenly, we know where we are. We're on the other side of the radio. And this is her crew. BAM! Some of the questions are answered. Where they go from there? That's something they can also figure out. It all depends on HOW you do it. It doesn't have to be that way, but that would be one cool way where we happen to stumble on her and heck, they could even make a way where WE end up sending her back in time to help us in the first place. And she doesn't need to have her gun back. = P Some scans say it's Praedyth's anyway.
