Seriously wtf Bungie, I paid £80 for that stuff and now you're just giving it out to anyone for free? Why is this the case exactly? I genuinely feel like Bungie just stole money from the ones who paid the extra £20 to get them. Also can you people equip them because I sure hope you can't! EDIT: Found out it isn't Bungie's fault, it's a bug on Microsofts side. Also it seems they could be taking away the ability to use the gear if you never actually bought it!
