Wish I could play with my fellow thorny guardians but i couldn't find any so I ended up going to Spartan 1 project. Only got messaged from one guy

i don't feel comfortable just adding people. but I have tried messaging those on the clan

Yeah same when I started destiny. I didn't feel comfortable but once I spoke to others in forums and private messages you can find some really nice people you could join. I try to be selective with friends to make sure I don't get bad experiences in my games.
