It amazes me that the same people that were complaining about bows, which nobody was using, also defend HC's. They are nearly the same type of engagement but the HC has tons of aim assists. HC's chunk just like bows and can be a "1 shot" in team shooting scenarios. Perks like adagio need removed from 120's.

2 commentairesModifié par Griever : 1/17/2026 12:05:09 AMThe only issue isn't the frame but the fact that: * Most using hand cannons that actually ARE threats are almost certainly using Xim/ Cronus or some other bs to get the kind of movement and accuracy they do * Team shooting when 1 shot takes out almost half your health * They have a perk or two that increases their stability by a significant amount * Or a perk that increases their damage, that perk for ages now being Adagio, Kill Clip, or Golden Tricorn So the only they actually have over other frames is range as they generally have less stability (which also means less flinch resistance), less handling, less reload, and less ammo. And frankly, if someone is going to demand a nerf, they should always give ideas that won't absolutely destroy the subject they're complaining about or they have no right to complain in the first place as far as I'm concerned. And let's see: * Adagio gives I think 25-33% more damage but takes 20% ROF or so * Kill Clip requires a reload which is why so many people don't like using it and prefer almost any other damage perk * And Tricorn iirc requires a kill with an ability matching the element of the weapon or a kill with the weapon THEN the ability It will never be good for balance to nerf a perk because of a specific frame nor to nerf a entire frame because of 1 perk. Damage perks should always make the weapon kill faster and/ or with significantly less crit accuracy, simple as that. They shouldn't have to invest in the weapon stat unless every gun benefits from it to a comparable extent. If they nerf 120s when their only 2 advantages are range and damage perks, all that'll accomplish is move everyone move back to Graviton, Sightline Survey, or the Modified B7 Pistol since almost no one who uses any other alternatives like Ace, Thorn, or Sturm can ever do so efficiently.

I am a hand cannon main through and through and yes 120s need a nerf. Honestly their range just is nonsense and with statflation on guns these days they all just have zero recoil anymore and are so easy to use which is supposed to be a main drawback of that archetype. I mean just try to use a tier 5 mos anthanor with like 60 stability and 90+ recoil direction which you can get from a barrel no mod needed. A newborn baby could use that gun.

4 commentairesall weapons in general need their damage to be nerfed across the board by 62.397% to be precise, for the health of the game. reloads should take atleast 300% more time to complete than they do now. Primary ammo bricks should return, but be as common to drop as special ammo bricks. Also in pvp everyone should spawn in with 1 mag of primary ammo per life, this would give the game more depth, charactor, inclusivity and accessibility. this might even improve the new player experience too. This change if implemented would save the game, and bring up the player population back to 350,000 players again.

1 commentaireAs others have said, maybe adagio should be nerfed? 120’s three-tap. You know what else three-taps? My 180 RPM Word of Crota with Precision Instrument. Why don’t they need to be nerfed? Ultimately, I feel nerfs are pointless (except in outlying cases). As long as everyone has the same access, what is the issue? If something is so broken, why don’t you throw it on and show us all how much you dominate with it?

It's only a few handcannons that have range. The new mos athanor IV and crimils dagger both have damage perks and other range based perks like adagio and explosive rounds to push out that range. Not to mention, range master works options. The 120s legendaries out class exotics. Even hawkmoon which is insane. Hawkmoon is terrible compared to these two legendary weapons. Axe of spades is strong only because it's a huge storyline involving Cayde 6. It's a way better option than hawkmoon and legendaries. I believe exotics needs a buff to counter those strong 120s.
