Theres just no recent precedent for them giving something without taking 2 things away. And nobody believes them. But...maybe...the player count has dropped so far they realized they can't F around anymore because theyre already finding out.

And make their metrics go down? They won't, maximum play time for zero effort using grind and layers of RNG as content or they have to make actual content which bungie is allergic to
