Just an idea, from a long time player who has been missing the game
To offset the respawn time for a player on death in control, clash and other non-Trials crucible activities:
With no zones captured or clash (299 max) and a 0.075s offset per kill should extend the game by about 2 minutes on close games where both team gain more than 100 kills between them
This would mean that on close games where more experienced players are fighting each other, the strategy to reach the maximum playtime with the same team (if you’re enjoying the matchmaking), which could also help higher skilled players when the ELO system works in conjunction with the types of games that reach higher than average maximum times
It would also mean that there is a higher chance for a comeback from either side, at whichever stage in the match, as long as the momentum of the team keeps in line correctly
0.-blam!- for a team wipe while there are no enemies on the map, is what this is intuitively trying to achieve, and it could be an interesting mechanic, especially around heavy ammo spawn times
Could even increase the 0.075 offset by a modifier depending on how close to a Seventh Column you are
