It is complete trash. Much too long and tedious with its stupid platforming. This is the kind of mission that kills motivation to play the game.

I agree with OP that using it as Story is lame, but Bungie have been doing that since before Avalon?? As for your comment about platforming, you want to try the timed missions of Zero Hour and The Whisper if you think this exotic mission is hard. 14 mins and 53 seconds is my fastest time on this mission with 3 guardians just messing about using off meta builds). That was my 7th or 8th run through. If you’re failing on these jumping sections then I just don’t know what to say. I really don’t. I would suggest that using stomp-eze or Lion Ramparts would help if you’re on a Hunter/Titan respectively. Or Burst glide on a Warlock. 😀👍

It's jumping onto things like ledges and platforms. If jumping is a mechanic then so is sprinting. There was very little platforming/jumping needed and absolutely none of it had any degree of difficulty.

It's one of the shortest exotic missions and has a single 40-second platforming area with 2 routes for people that want to go the normal way or skip it.

I am not playing this garbage mission again. The next time that I launch the game I will abandon the quest. I don't care about the weapons.
