1 commentaireI Didnt bought it or played it, but considering how ridiculous I found The Witness I knew I was going to quit and pass and nothing was going to improve such a crappy “Fortnite end of the season skin” character. Destiny Lore was also derailed with the rest of the game long time ago.

It was a nice wrap up to the story, especially the post Excision cutscenes. However the pale heart is very empty and was majorly played out in the story. The replay factor just isn’t there

Modifié par Nuke365 : 8/10/2024 2:09:23 PMIn my opinion… Amazing: Campaign, Dual Destiny (for the first 5 or 6 runs), Excision, Ergo Sum concept, exotic class item concept, Prismatic concept Fail: The raid, exotic class item drop rates and vault space hog, Ergo Sum vault space hog, Prismatic Titan, nerfs, Cayde 86’d

7 commentairesModifié par THE GRIND IS REAL : 8/8/2024 8:13:32 AMA dlc solely made for streamers, sherpas and carry systems. space division 1 with worse bullet sponges this dlc ,long af boss fights with un needed immune phases . Bungie cater to the top% for this and lost a huge chunk of the playerbase ,2 or 3 titans outa 500 to 600 guardians complete the raid bungies answer to this is nerf the only two decent classes warlock an hunter that could do the raid then buffs 2 titans super an call it a day I'm 100% sure the devs are purposely killing this game off since they are already aware of low player count. What's worse is not one streamer has come forward and admitted the difficulty increases and nerfs they've demanded since before lightfall has slowly killed the game off an they are part of the fault not just bungie ,or should we just talk about how much streamers have made of duo carrys since tfs release ,some have made enough to buy a house through carrys and tutorials in less than 3 months that's how bad it is Highest player count plummet out of any dlc previously released, too busy paying for holidays to go to bungie hq for early access catering to a streamer that admitted using his yt fame to talk to a minor

7 commentairesModifié par TripleF73 : 8/9/2024 12:58:50 AMDisagree, it was flawed and laborious in parts, but I enjoyed it, for the most part. That being said there were, imho, too many nerfs just to make prismatic shine (at least on Hunter and Warlock prismatic subclasses). And recently there have been continued examples of Bungie doubling down on ridiculous decisions like the recent -5 levelling in normal raids and dungeons and the recent nerf to exotic class item farming.

Narratively, it was on Par with Witch Queen. The way it played, I would still place it slightly lower than Taken King. (Taken King was consistently more enjoyable than Final Shape, with more memorable missions. The only missions you would really remember from Final Shape is 1, 5, 6, and 7.) Though, with all that being said, it’s lacking in a clear and Dense endgame like Forsaken. So, I would put it Top 4 1. Taken King 2. Forsaken 3. Witch Queen 4. Final Shape 5. Rise of Iron Personal opinions are going to change and affect what people perceive as the number 4 and 5 spots. Some might have liked Beyond Light or Lightfall more. Others might have enjoyed Shadowkeep or Warmind. Nobody likes Curse of Osiris.

It was the first Destiny expansion I never purchased. I always said I would buy it when it went 50% off but now I’m not even sure I will do that. Kind of lost interest in the game right now.

2 commentairesMan I saw a ton of people saying it was awesome at the end and people were crying. Now you all hated it. All those good job Bungie thrends are on here .
-
2 commentaireswell final shapes better from last years cringe fall

1 commentaireHonestly I liked lightfall better.
-
It was not nearly as good as people are claiming it to be. Even barring Day 1 server shenanigans, it wasn't the savior the franchise needed.

7 commentairesI loved it personally.

3 commentairesGood or bad it wasn't Amazing enough to bring back players that have left. It was teh 5th best selling d2 expansion.. There were only 7 so it was better than 2 other expansions. Too many people left to never return. Too many people might have waited to see how the release went. And it was terrible, several days of instability. followed by several bugs in teh game, followed by duo destiny debate, more bugs, timegated drip fed content back and forth from vendor to vendor.. people saw this and chose not to come back. The expansion wasnt' bad but, it didn't knock it out fo the park enough for those who left to come back or to draw in that many new players. This has been bungie problem, they cannot retain players well, nor engage with new players.

1 commentaireModifié par SavvyMon : 8/8/2024 3:18:57 PMThey completely lost me when over half the campaign was getting the fireteam back together 🙄. Like really? That’s not what anyone wanted for the finale to the light and dark saga. And you can tell the only 3 missions they actually cared about were the last 3 since those were the only ones with any replay ability outside of the campaign with the co-op versions.

1 commentaireWrong. It was very good!
-
1 commentaireYeah, I wasn't a big fan of the whole Bringing Cayde back, just to try and milk some nostalgia from players. Also that one mission where you face the witness is so tiresome, not in the way you fight him but the overall atmosphere. Close quarters arena with multiple hazards. Like with Lightfall, Beyond Light, etc.

Would have likely been better if the sandbox wasn't shaken up the way it was. -
Pretty bland narrative that did almost nothing to resolve open plot points

4 commentairesModifié par Ghostfire239 : 8/8/2024 12:24:07 AMI’d say it was a decent expansion but people are talking about it like it was some 10/10 DLC. The campaign was good, but I swear the amount of people talking about how it “made them shed tears” genuinely had me baffled. I think it was okay but there were times where I was thinking “that’s feels kinda out of place”. For example when your guardian sees Cayde again for the first time since HE PERMANENTLY DIED and just asks “how long has it been”…dude the guy DIED in front of you, what the hell do you mean “how long has it been”? The guardian acts like the guy moved to a different place for a bit and they’re just catching up after randomly seeing each other Now I will admit I personally don’t like the Ghost so perhaps some of the emotional impact of the story is just not there for me, but I still think it was a bit over hyped. Prismatic was probably the best thing about the DLC. Haven’t played the raid so I can’t speak on that, but I can say the armour was atrociously ugly.

29 commentairesModifié par YATM : 8/8/2024 10:02:49 AMHard disagree. Best since Forsaken Edit: not sure if this is a generational thing or not but when you say something is the best since Forsaken, it means that forsaken was better, but everything else afterwards was not.

I never thought it was a “masterpiece” like some folks, but it’s definitely a solid 8/10 for me right there with WQ.

5 commentairesI really enjoyed it personally. I thought it was great, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion

I just went back to Cyberpunk 2077 to play the DLC. Its just light years beyond The FS in terms of production and writing. FS feels like it was written by children in comparison. I mean it wasnt as bad as LF but not nearly as good as claimed. The very steep player drop off backs this up. I think D2 is toast. A decade is a great run but I reckon the decline is terminal now. For me anyway.
