There’s a lot of doom and gloom with the news we’ve been getting. If this franchise does come to an end, I’m sure we’ll all be bummed out. It’s been a great 10 years killing aliens and grouping with and against randoms in the sandbox.
I want you guys to remember this.
When marathon comes out, I want you to remember how little we as a community meant to these people. How often our opinions were ignored, and things we didn’t ask for pushed on to us. Most of all, the laziness of a company that could kill such a fantastic product as destiny.
None of us asked for marathon, and as a destiny community, our only “payback” that will have an effect is not playing marathon.
I’ll still play destiny just to see what happens, but if marathon was the decision making catalyst that started taking resources away from our game, I’m just gonna be petty and not play it. Me alone not playing it won’t affect them, sure. But if none of us touch marathon, maybe they’ll finally realize their mistakes.
TLDR if you don’t want to read the post - stay away from marathon. It contributed to this mess. I lost all trust in bungie as a company.

Asking cause yall sound crazy right now lol. This is just a video game, that was eventually going to end. They all do. Hoping bungie fails, these grandiose posts, etc are signs yall need help lol. Not bungie, yall lol. Oh yea, by the way: all companies view their communities the same. They just see you as customers.
