If you’re banking on Marathon saving you then you’ve got another thing coming. You made a ton of fans off Destiny, which is what most of us are here for. If you’re going to destroy the game like this, then I have no hope for Marathon either. Destiny needs to be the focus, and Marathon can have its spot too. But one or the other is NOT the way to approach this.

I definitely won't be buying Marathon. Bungie has lied to me enough over the past 10 years.
-
1 commentaireDestiny was a success because an FPS with some light mmo mechanics was unique. I'm shocked they think another extraction shooter in an already crowded field will be a success, especially since most Destiny players hate pvp.

10 commentairesModifié par The2ndWave : 8/4/2024 11:09:56 PMThey can’t make a better game now, let alone make a new one!🤣🤣🤣 These guys have no talent left at all anymore. All they could come up with again is fluff! Like a girl on makeup, you’ll be surprised to see a completely different person in the morning without it!🤣🤣🤣 Fluff! Marathon can’t save them. Nothing will. They are like the Titanic now. Slow drip, but eventually the ship will sink head first!🤣🤣🤣 Some people said they heard music at the deck of the Titanic that night. That’s what you hear now from this company. NOISE! But in the end, the ship will sink head first! 🤣🤣🤣 This company is toast! CAPUT!!! Absolutely nothing here but a shamble mess of shallowness!

Agree with ya 💯. No plans on buying Marathon or any other Bungie game. This Final Shape expansion with Season Pass is my last purchase. I’m just playing since I already paid for the 3 episodes then it’ll be adios for me
-
Why would I buy a game from a company I already know uses its player base the way BUNGLE does. Destiny I had so much invested so couldn’t really quit just take breaks. But Marathon I know better to buy and go through that 💩 show again.
-
1 commentairei never understood bring it back, like its been 30 yrs, no one was throwing themselves for a new game and then to make it a different genre of the original marathon why even use the name
-
3 commentairesI heard it would be free. Honestly, everyone should try marathon because new bungie ips , always come crispy
-
2 commentairesOh no. Pistols not buying!
-
1 commentaire100% agree, I will go back to Destiny 1 before I play PVP Marathon. PVP has such little replayability. Too bad they had something unique with Destiny...especially on console, not much else like it.
-
I have no interest in Marathon. Reckon I'll be on GTA 6.
-
2 commentairesWhat about the lucent hive being in the Marathon trailer now....
-
I’m not buying it because it’s the worst possible fps genre
-
While I agree that I will 100% not give Marathon the time of day or Bungo another dime, and that the bad PR Bungo is getting currently is going to have lasting repercussions, unfortunately there is always some brainwashed tool who will still buy it. There will always be new fools to suck money from. Let's be honest, people aren't getting any more intelligent these days, and by the time Marathon releases, most of the troglodyte gamers will have already forgotten about Bungo being a terrible company and buy it because "iT lOoKs KeWl BrO."
-
1 commentaireMarathon is going to be a pvp thing so I'm going to pass
-
1 commentairePvP game made by a team that largely ignored pvp for 10 years. And it’s an extraction shooter to boot. Hard pass.

Modifié par SheprdOfFire : 8/4/2024 10:40:22 PMThis game had/has (And I say has because a foolish part of me still holds a speck of hope that they will actually start doing good for the game and not just trying to make a quick buck so that PETE PARSONS can buy another car) so much potential, but like all gaming companies now a days its all about the money, and its not like they don't have money, cause $3.4 Billion is a lot of money, but most of it went to personal accounts by the looks of it and into a failed project from the get go that looks like a f**king micro transaction nightmare with no story, no soul, and ZERO originality. I'm pretty sure this is the end of Bungie and good riddance honestly, maybe not now or in a year but I don't see this company surviving more than 2 years, and yeah it sucks for the people working at Bungie who actually care for it but they seem to love they're paychecks more than making a good game, if the sentiment of most of the employees is that bungie is making bad decisions, they could've done something a looooong time ago, could've gone on strike, that puts a hell lot of pressure on the higher-ups, but instead they decided to keep their heads down and look how Bungie rewarded them, again it sucks for them but they should have done something, not "coulda", should have. PS: and to the ninjas that might/will take this down and probably/will ban me, 🖕🖕 for protecting those aholes, shame on you

At least with Marathon, since its supposedly a hero shooter it will be far more apparent that the game is putting people in lobbies to fulfill certain roles. Signed, Forced Auto Rifle Monotony Guy
-
I don't think Marathon was ever supposed to save Bungo.
-
8 commentairesAfter this game ill never buy another bungie game again.
-
Marathon is escape from tarkov and most destiny players hate PvP

11 commentairesWatching this place burn to the ground is always so fascinating. So many people with so many opinions. So much rage. I love it.

They pretty much abandoned one in pursuit of the other one, and many fans back then felt the same way current fans are feeling right now.

If they release marathon at a time when things are really stale for new iOS in the industry, it's not impossible marathon will do well. But it won't be because of any of my money, that's for sure.
-
The fact that it's an extraction shooter is enough of a deterrent to not buy it.
-
Was never going to buy Marathon myself, looked like Concord, but DEI/SBI threw up on it, it’s DOA.

I won’t be spending a dime on any product produced by Bungie ever again, certainly not Marathon. Even though it’s likely to be free to play, I refuse to install and give it one shred of my time. I’ve invested a lot into Destiny so I will play from time to time until the servers are shut down. Hot take, but I’m kind of glad the game is slowing down, as I’m tired of the endless grind and FOMO. It will be nice to be able to engage with the game at my own pace rather than the constant pull to spend all of my game time with Destiny.
