I suck at this game but I don't have anywhere near the amount of problems people complain about on here....lawwdy

So, it seems you barely play the game. You have to play the game to find the issues ;) By that I mean you've done normal story on your 2 alts, & you do GMs & dungeons on your main & a bit of trials. You've not touched the key issues of standard PvP, pathfinder & the total lack of incentive to play for the 90% who don't do endgame activities. There's also a metric tonne of bugs like seals, triumphs, seals totally broken. You're also ignoring things like bungie straight up lying about things. Glad you're having fun but the 1.4m who quit, weren't.

Umm, it has been this way since Destiny 1, just not as bad as it is now. Toxic developer = Toxic community. The developer is a shell of their former self and It's why I play other games most of the time, and the worse off the game becomes the worse off this forum becomes. It's the only place people can vent because it's not highly censored. However, it is childish how a few make it a point to troll on this forum to try to trigger people for not being nice to this poor developer who needs to be saved by them.
-
It's feedback. The game is bad now, so it's negative feedback. Get over yourself, BDF.
-
For Destiny 2 to have so many moving parts, there are bound to be many irregularities affecting the balance of the sandbox, so it wouldn't be out of line to say that most of the complaints are based in reason. In the same vein, where would one go to raise their complaints if not the most direct line of communication with the developers of the game? While complaints can be excessive, they're not innately deconstructive nor a bad thing.

People here could win a million dollars and only complain about the taxes they have to pay on it.

The game's pretty much the same these days. I have blocked messages on PSN after getting bored with the endless line of little kidlets who think making "I bonked your mom" jokes is intimidating. The problem on the forums is that large numbers of people cannot accept that people dare to have different opinions than them. Even when you explain it. They stamp their little feet and throw out the standard names like "toxic", "whiny" and "entitled" often for just wanitng something they do not. If people don't agree with me, fine, zero issues with that from this callsign because I don't expect people to. But the constant "You cant have that opinion" attitude on here just mirrors real life these days sadly. I have made posts, some pretty big, about something and why I don't like it or cant be bothered with it. I take the time to explain why I feel that way. Always the same replies, mostly from the same people. When I said I wont be doing Dual Destiny because it looks tedious and pretty boring I was innundated with "You just don't want to use a mic", "You don't want to play with other people" etc etc despite neither being a problem for me and me explicitly explaining why I do not want to play it. I was a commercial pilot, using a mic was part of my job. I just don't find all those mechanics fun. That's why I don't raid. If other people do, then great .. have fun playing it. I certainly don't think they are "toxic" for doing so and enjoying something I don't. Everyone's different. I just put up a post in another thread showing how another gaming community I am part of is friendly, shares their creations, encourages people and is pretty cool to be part of. One of the BDF turns up and says that me comparing the two games is "ridiculous". When I point out that I am not comparing the games, and the entire post was talking about the community, he doubles down by saying comparing the communites is ridiculous and then launches into the predictable "Wah, you're toxic" tirade. Yeah, blocked. Cant be bothered with people who are so intent on having a go they will willingly ignore what you actually said and substitute it for what THEY think YOU mean. In recent weeks I had one poster bombard me with messages about my views on Dual destiny, some very personally abusive, and I just ignored them. I'm a big boy and I can handle that and more. But the minute I fired back he fired up the Outrage Bus and went full speed into Victimville. Again, just like the real world today. People used to be able to disagree, now if you don't sign up to their opinion you are the Devil.

This forum has always been a cesspool. It’s purely for hating on destiny.
-
Unfortunately, a lot of people come here to complain/vent and the way some people talk, you’d think they were forced to play this game at gunpoint. It’d be nice to see more lighthearted chats and balanced opinions about the game, but those kinds of posts rarely get as much attention.
-
Welcome to mediocrity and complacency. It’s the reason the top 0.1% is the top 0.1%. Majority of people would rather complain than learn, improve, understand, and put in the work. The amount of times I’ve had a 1.4kd or bellow argue with me about something they have no clue about on these forums is not only laughable, it’s sad.
-
What do you mean "has turned into?" This has always been a place for bootlickers, trolls, fanbois, haters, whiners, wannabes and overhyped elitists. You'll always find some kinda nonsensical drama on here, it's the human condition, sadly.
-
You're basically sat in a stores complaints dept wondering why you see complaining customers, seriously? This is where players can give feedback, report issues or complain whilst getting harassed by Bungies fanboys, so obviously you'll see that in concentration. Some call it toxic but this generation equate anything they disagree with as 'toxic'
-
It’s fine, people just get so offended by differing views on the game
-
See you’re just coming on here for the wrong reasons. If you’re looking for tips, tricks and useful info, you’re better off with Reddit. This forum is where you come when you want to laugh at ppl arguing over a video game. I’ve been on here since about TDB was released and it never fails to entertain.
-
That's a normal reaction. People used to do more than complain about the simplest of self created issues. I've seen Free to plays enter the chat and start comparing a $100 expansions to a $100 skins.
-
Games is dead a month after release. It’s not a fun game to play with how tedious and annoying things are. The only thing remotely okay with the game are GM’s
-
But the Forums match the Game.. Symmetry?
-
Modifié par JocyBossy : 7/12/2024 1:01:35 AM& yet here you are shedding those tears hypocrite you do know raid report and other sites for tracking exist right? They already have lost 1.3 million players in a month, and with the L&D saga being over, most of them will never return. most elite and shills with Bungie's help to nurture them have bread this toxic environment. #clown

Yes people's attitudes are the problem not the game, as the old saying goes, "The squeaky wheel gets the grease"
-
Once upon a time it was different. But it changed over a couple of years. The reasons are diverse. I like the core of the game, and I'm tolerant, but the company is a mess. That's being obvious, and the forum here is mirroring it. Sadly.
-
Weirdly, I’ve met nicer people here than in-game. 🤷♂️
-
Turned into implies it was something different before
-
This implies they were ever anything else.
-
I think it actually used to be even worse. This place was miserable during the Taken King Content Draught of 2016.
-
10 years ago man! With the power to make statements about things that happened 10 years ago!

What do you mean "turned into", theyve always been this way.
