I play out of East coast Aus so get flicked around a range of servers and found there are the odd cheaters on all of them but its not endemic.
I am crap at PvP and Trials so loose a lot but can still have fun. There are some awesome players out there so sometimes you are going to get stomped and they are not cheating.
A bigger issue is the matchmaking algorithm so sick of coming up against stacked team a level 11.

Yes. Cheaters have definitely become a lot more common. people not taking flinch, not missing a shot at all despite jumping around like monkeys. im on the ground, im hitting all my shots, mine don't register, but in air accuracy penalties just don't exist for them? And before people ego me saying "you missed", I have an 80 percent headshot rate on several primary weapons. This crap didn't happen over a year ago. Something -blam!- stinks.

Well after getting destroyed all week non-stop, yesterday was coincidentally the day I went on a monstrous run--7 straight wins to flawless, and from Bronze back to Gold in competitive crucible. Today it's bad again and the thing I notice is flinch is off the charts. I mean I get hit with one or two bullets and my entire screen is a jumble and then I'm dead. My point is they may be playing with the settings or may have different settings on different servers. Just a guess on my part.

Yes, I'm currently in TX, but travel throughout the country during the course of the year. I play on a PS4 (white Destiny skinned) tethered to 4G wireless. Connections are usually pretty good depending on the local Verizon network.

ps4 is at a massive disadvantage in pvp. I had to buy an xbox series s, because it was unplayable on ps4.

True. I start to play destiny 2 just before Forsaken dlc and temporarily quit around Shadow keep. I seldomly thought I was playing with cheaters in those days. But in the recent two seasons, it's crazy.
