Fully agree with you, but it's part of the Bungie ethos we tell you what you want and direct how you play so unlikely to be removed.
Bungie has suffered from hubris for a long time but it does not seem to worry it.
I still enjoy Destiny but you just have to accept the way things are and not let them get you rattled ie play how you want.

They tell you what and how to do it all, they force you to play with others or win no rewards... makes a bad game and for that, destiny deserves to go bankrupt and vanish like the garbage it is becoming.
