Server Disconnects with Weasel and Anteater Error Codes

PC Weasel and Anteater Errors disconnecting me from the game constantly. I've seen others having this issue as well. I've also seen the Bungie Help Team direct people over to the bungie help twitter. Stating "We will have an official update via our Help Twitter very soon." [url]https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/262645839?sort=0&page=0[/url] But that was a week ago and there hasn't been any statements of any information to go off of. I'm a new player and have been having this issue the whole time I've been trying to play, which is a couple weeks. It's pretty discouraging when you've finished any form of content the get kicked, lose all rewards and receive a penalty in the case of pvp. I've tried researching to resolve the issue myself and had no luck. Below are the list of thing's I've tried to use to resolve the issue. -Power cycled network devices. Modem and router. Also updated my router incase it was an issue there. -Restarted my computer incase it was an issue with that. -Restarted the game. -I'm already using a wired connection rather than wireless -I've been having these issues prior to using the companion app, and haven't played on any other platform. To cover the cross platform side of the house. -I've tried port forwarding the 3097 port to support having an open NAT Type. -Changed my preferred DNS as I've read the issue might reside with the path being taken to get to the destiny servers. -Cleared the steam download cache. -Called my ISP to inquire about any issues on their side. -I don't run loadouts so it's not that issue So far the only solution I've read might resolve the issue is purchasing a VPN to attempt change the route to the Destiny servers. I'm currently researching if it could be any firewall issues, or if the servers prioritizes paying players over free to play players. Ideally there's a fix out there that I've missed but I can't seem to find it. This is the only game I'm having any network related issue with. Which is further bewildering to me because I don't even get any lag. It's just a notification that there's a connection error and I just get removed. I've also seen mentions of geographical area but of my friends in the same local area, I'm the only one having this issue. So if anyone has a solution that would be great. Or if it's an issue on Bungie's part just any kind of information on what's going on would reduce the stress on my part.

  • Since you are a new player in Destiny, you have two options: stop playing the game and never have connection problems, or continue playing and get accustomed to it (its kind of a featured). Im a old timer Destiny player, and this error codes come and go. Been having anteater error codes in every playlist and even patrol for the past two weeks, so you get the point.
