Sony granted me a refund...if you're a [i]new player[/i] who has purchased the game within the last 14 days and has only booted it up to see an infinite loading screen + CHICKEN error, you should be able to tell them you purchased a [b]faulty game[/b] and you would like a refund. Make sure you speak to a real person customer service rep over the phone, not their online chat system. Be patient, and explain that it's a Bungie network error, not a Sony network error, and that Bungie have mentioned on their help forum they're aware of the issues with Error Code CHICKEN as of mid-February. Worst case scenario, the rep denies your refund and you have to call back and get another rep. But in accordance with Sony's refund policy, you are indeed entitled to a refund for a faulty game within 14 days of purchase - which Destiny 1 certainly qualifies for in its current unplayable state.
