I for one love it. Now all the PvE players know what it’s been like for dedicated PvP players since SBMM was implemented. You all complained that PvP was to easy for those that actually dedicated time to learn and improve. Now the difficulty has come full circle to the PvE side of the game. You made your bed. Now sleep in it.

  • I love that Bungie is not so discreetly pushing casuals towards raids and dungeons. They're one of the few endgame activities you can over level for, on normal mode at least. And the newest raid and dungeon are both pretty simple.

  • Yeah, no... The changes have managed to take me from possibly playing a raid this year to not having logged on in 3 weeks after having played for years.

  • Your stance is completely inaccurate. The pve changes are an increase in difficulty based on AI bits that do not have any wants, needs, or desire to achieve a goal. There is no intent behind the actions. They cannot quit or leave the game. There is no choice to their participation as they are artificial. But, in pvp, every opponent in that match has a person (a human) behind it that does have wants, desires, and goals. These people do have the option to play the game or not. When they do play they “want” to have fun just like every other person in that match. They do not find it fun to be “cannon fodder” for streamers, or other high skilled players, for views in their videos. Now, if you have been successful and achieved a high enough skill level to be matched with “sweats”, that is your reward. If you have been matched above your skill level now you get to experience what the lower skilled people do. In this case, the real problem is not sbmm but the skill range of the upper levels being too broad. Which is most likely due to the top level players complaining about long match times due to the smaller number of players at the top.
