He's one of our most useful allies.
He's been helping for a while now.
He should be counted as an honorary member of the Vanguard due to his skill and influence.
The whole point of his "Gambit" was to prep for the arrival of the Black Fleet and the Witness. It's time we find out what exactly he has planned and make use of it.
He should play a much larger role in the Narrative going forward as we didn't keep him around for his bedside manner.
If I understand my Lore correctly he's a Titan with the mind of a Warlock and the agility of a Hunter. We need a Drifter centric story campaign.

Uh yeah no he’s insufferable if anyone needs a larger part it’s Eris 🤤

Next season the traveller will most likely wake up and use space magic to res Those that perished, osiris gets a pouka and becomes the grumpy strand overlord, and the veil is revealed to be nothing but a smart cloaking device.

Modifié par Hawpy : 3/26/2023 12:03:57 AMOne of the reasons why I loved Season of Arrivals was that we got so much dialogue from Drifter and Eris. It had the right mixture of banter and "serious" talk, and there were enough lines that it didn't feel like you would hear the same ones over and over. When they teased those two plus the Exo Stranger as being major players in Beyond Light, and being an alternate "Dark Vanguard" of sorts, it made their actual involvement much more disappointing. Still, at least he has had more involvement in the story than poor old Lord Shaxx. One of my favourite exchanges:
D: Hey, Three Eyes, you spendin' all your time on Io now? E: Or the Moon. Depending on the weather. D: What do you think of all this? E: All of what? D: The Black Fleet. The end of the line. End of the Light. E: It hasn't come to that. Not yet. D: How do you know? E: It hasn't been dark enough. D: Look at the sky. Nightfall's comin'. E: We'll live in the night, if we have to. I've been there before. So have you. So has the Guardian. D: It ain't pleasant. E: No. But necessary. For what follows. D: And what's that? E: Dawn.
IMO the Drifter will play a major part in the final shape, maybe as the NPC that guides us thru the 3rd darkness subclass.

Modifié par Eliksni Gunslinger : 3/27/2023 10:28:10 PMNo, he ushered the guardians descent into corruption, along with Elsie Bray , what happened to the Traveler is there fault Both should be executed or exiled , if the Vanguard refuses to act , The Praxic Warlocks will see it through
-
Im the great value drifter and i play no part of this. Lol
-
Just be prepared for another gambit seasonal activity
-
Ugh No. That guy is unbearable.
-
-
I heard he will take commander Zavala´s place. Bungie confirmed this in a podcast.
-
He's basically one of THE people to talk to with anything related to Darkness. It kind of surprises me the only times he was relevant was Joker's Wild and Plunder. At this rate, I'd be surprised if his next chance in the spotlight didn't involve Shin Malphur or something like that.

i Thought he was a warlock

I don't usually trust leaks, but if the recent leaks showing off taken themed weapons, along with a taken version of the Spare Rations are actually going to be coming in season 21, then I bet Drifter will play a key role next season
-
No, he is the worse. He needs to be replaced, tired of listening to him.
-
Im sure they'll kill him in a random throw out cutscene eventually.
