My problem with the difficulty is I like playing fast, goofy, and trying out weird builds.
But now I have to play slow and patiently in every activity.
It's not hard, it's just boring. Shooting an enemy for 5 minutes isn't fun. Giant health bars on every enemy isn't hard,it's boring .
Lightfall is basically tickle your enemies to death, and it's boring.

I miss the old adept nightfalls. Making "goofy" weird builds with all my cool toys and just playing around. Now it feels like they doubled down on having to run the meta and/or double primaries in all content.

And then when everyone is forced to use meta, they will have more reasons to nerf The game is becoming tedious

I thought the same. I can see necrotic and osteo on the chopping block soon enough.

How do you play "slow and patient" in something like Avalon? You can't. The game forces you into exactly the play style you say you like...

You couldn't in last season exotic mission either

Most of the encounters you can just kinda chill far away from enemies. The only encounter that is a pain is the first boss. I normally post up on the bottom and the adds will come to me. I use witherhoard and a bubble. Then I give myself an overshield prior to dunking. I've only done it solo. With a fireteam it gets way harder.

But just read the posts… It’s actually too hard lol ( it’s not, people just want to run at everything like you just described )
