10+ Pinnacles, no helmet
Shocker pinnacle system still absolute trash. All I needed to progress this dumb guardian rank is a helmet, let's see how many chances at that I had
4 encounters in Root of Nightmares
2 from Nightfalls
1 from Battlefields
2 from IB
2 from Spire (started at 2nd boss)
1 from Gambit
What'd I get? like 9 primaries and 3 gauntlets.. absolute garbage system

The entire power level system is being overhauled this year. Hunting pinnacles are not even going to be a thing any longer.

I've been saying this for a while. The ability to focus just one pinnacle a week would hugely reduce the BS.

They've been doing that since D1. Needed a heavy weapon to reach 400. Got everything but for two weeks. Once I finally got it they were dropping three times a day.

I think my personal record has been 4 weeks in a row to need one drop to hit the pinnacle cap without getting it despite doing all of the pinnacles, this season i was stuck for ”only” 2 weeks though (which is still absurd considering how many pinnacle drops there are when you do all of them). I wish they just got rid of the pinnacle system, i know they are not raising the cap next season but it should not be in the game at all in its current state where you have no smart loot or focusing options.

A hollow, shallow, and empty game with no purpose at all but to get you in an endless hamster wheel grind chasing your tail forever. Rewards are rigged. It’s been like that since D1. Manipulated drops. Before, it was forever 29. Then they tweaked it and you can get to max power. Taken King came and again manipulated the drops. Then tweaks it again so you can get to max power. Now we are here in D2 and this time the duplicate drops are just asinine. These guys have no creativity at all that they have to rig your pinnacle drops so you won’t get that missing piece that you needed. The goal?… They don’t want you to stop running that hamster wheel. That’s all part of the plan! Game is so shallow and hollow they have to manipulate your loot drops just to get you playing their boring and empty game! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Welcome to hollowness!

Just ran all 4 IB pinnacles, all four the same slot and all four the same level, awesomeness abounds.

1 commentaireThe fix we need. 1. Pinnacles drop at vendors as engrams. 2. Pinnacles can be focussed at vendors using the current system to target focus what is required. Alternatively, put in pinnacle rotator on a daily basis with a guarantee drop in slot, for example, mondays vanguard head, crucible arms, gambit chest, etc etc etc.

My pinnacles drop at 1802-1803 for the past two weeks I haven’t gotten a single light level aside from artifact level hopefully the raid will give me something useful

My main warlock and my second hunter both need gauntlets and nada after dozens of pinnacles but my 3rd a titan got all 3 pieces needed after 4 drops fml

14 commentairesThere’s 8 possible slots for a pinnacle to drop in. You did 12 and didn’t get it. The odds of this happening are pretty pedestrian and nowhere near astronomical. Besides, GMs aren’t for several weeks still you’re fine, pinnacle cap makes no difference for anything else.

Modifié par Stealthy Merc : 3/25/2023 1:53:38 PMI think there is some coding put in place where each week after some limit of upgrading pinnacles, it will purposely give you the same in slot that you don't need. This is done to slow down the progression so you come back next week after reset, the chances get higher on fresh resets. Since playing from launch I noticed this. They also did say every mission gives a chance either same level or one higher. Example raid is 1 or 2 levels higher. Cruicible, vanguard, gambit is same level, or 1 higher.

Unfortunately this will never change, I have the same problems with the RNG regarding Destiny, all others game I’m playing the RNG System working well focusing in what you want and what you need after some time, but RNG in Destiny is a long long QoL problem and they will never fix it.

What’s wrong here? What makes this garbage? You’re Ware that it isn’t trying to give you a different pinnacle every time, right? You got unlucky. Those additional pinnacles can be used to infuse your other gear, as I’m sure you have more than a single load out. You were going to need them for infusion eventually anyway.

Ouch! That's unlucky, dude. I typically get energy weapon favouritism. I have accepted a long time ago that this is normal now, I know it can be frustrating for sure, but the sooner you accept that its designed this way the better you'll be, I ignored pinnacles after hitting the powerful cap and just started playing the parts of the game I still enjoy. Soon there is now reason for a power level lol. A few more months left on this horrible season also. Diablo4 should be coming out near then also lol 👍🏻
