Didn’t that kinda just seem, I dunno, random? I mean, the during whole season all we were being told about the relics was that they were basically radioactive waste.
I know the “story” has to move along somehow, but this just looks like lazy writing. It’s like somebody put out a fire by throwing gas on it and we are just supposed to think nothing weird happened.

I literally had to get my husband to watch it and explain it to me cause I was so lost. I was overthinking the tea was supposed to be a metaphor… not actually turning Nezarec into tea…

Still, even if it is a metaphor it doesn’t seem coherent with how Nez’s power seems to work/has worked in the past. Was there even a hint that it would be used for Osiris before the cutscene? I feel like that would’ve been an intriguing dialogue for the vanguard at least. This is all probably leading up to something bigger in the future, but still this seems like one of those “It’s (space) magic, it’s not supposed to make sense.” moments.
