A lot of the issues everyone has would be much better if bungie actually bothered to speak to their community. The secrecy and lack of communication is hurting them to the point the game will die before lightfall. A ton of people already got a refund, its starting to really look like bungie is purposely trying to make their game die so they can then work on their next project. If I was the CEO of destiny I would be communicating deeply with the community and letting them know whats going on behind the scenes. The weekly twabs we get each week without a single mention of current problems is concerning, not even something like they acknowledge how everyone is feeling.

1. A ton of people have cancelled? Proof, please. No, posts on an internet forum aren't evidence. 2. We've seen where direct discussions with "the community" lead. 3. It's their game. They make it to earn money. We don't have to play it if we dislike the final result. If they lose paying players - it's their problem.

I mean, if you're sticking to your guns then fair play, but I've seen more folks than I care to mention falsely claim they got refunds. I always find it baffling that people would lie about stuff like that.

Just look at the forums, majority of post are about players talking about getting refunds. How blind are you? Are you gonna tell me the game is currently thriving? Because its clearly not, destiny is hitting its lowest point since the osiris dlc. That alone speaks for itself, I love the game too but geez don’t be naive. Destiny clearly has a problem and the new expansion is not hyping up a ton of players for good reason. If you can play the game past then good for you I guess, I have paid for every single expansion and season and even cosmetics in hopes that this game will get their act together and provide me with quality content. Bungie literally got a 3 billion dollar investment and all we got was a small effort cutscene that not only killed any hype for the next expansion but also made no sense. But hey go ahead and keep drinking that tea, it seems it already got to your head.

Unhappy people are always vocal, happy people don't feel the need to go around and tell everyone how much they like the game. People have always cancelled their subscriptions but now it has become quite trendy to post about it

Oh look. Another troll post with nothing of substance and is just a bunch of whining. A "ton of people" have not refunded Lightfall. Hell, I doubt YOU refunded it. Go whine on Reddit while waiting for a queue in game.

Go be a fanboy somewhere else, if you can enjoy minimal effort content and doing the same exact BS every single day then good for you. Don’t come over here trying to defend a game thats literally dying, you can easily look up the player count over the past few months. Destiny has been declining for a while now even before this season.
