Feels ultra weird that your biggest argument is "it paints a target on my back for hostility" and then put all this on the same forum that will provide said hositility.
Just because you've been afforded to live how you wish without further change, doesn't mean everyone else can.

I’ve grown up in this world gay, I am very familiar with the hate we are faced with, I am able to endure petty insults and condescending people. It’s surprising that so many people like you feel the need to weigh in, it has nothing at all to do with you. Either you're being dishonest or are a little bit slow. If you needed a private channel, those already exist with dms across reddit and twitter. Hell you could probably message dmg on this platform too. The forum is a place for discussion, there's no getting around that. So don't play this "it's just for bungie" bullcrap.

Discussion is a byproduct, a games official forum is purpose built to collect feedback from players. Regardless of however you think it should be used, my message is for Bungie, and I don’t really care what you think. They chose to represent a demographic I am part of, and I have feedback about the impact of that representation. You and I have nothing to discuss.

I understand exactly what you mean and what you're trying to say. It doesn't feel authentic, it feels like pandering to me.
