Banning for holding an opinion about the state of the game. It isn’t necessarily Bungie advocating the bans but not doing enough investigation on the players they are banning. Toxic players are starting to realize they can insult players and if the player retaliate negatively or defend themselves even with non toxic responses, they can easily get them ban due to how easily it is to offend someone. So if you find someone who is being toxic, your best course of action is to ignore them.

I just report them myself so they get the ban. If they're not banned, chances are they're Bungie employees masquerading as gamers harassing the players, maybe for kicks, I don't know. But in that case, Bungie already knows about it and they condone it. I got a ban a while back for posting that Destiny's dead. Well, we can ban Bungie right back by not buying any more of their crap.

Agreed. I dont even bother when players attack my opinion or belittle me, I simply ignore them or report them. No point in arguing with players -blam!- for personal reasonings versus the game itself.
