Error Code: Marmot
I've validated files several times and reinstalled the game from scratch to the point it's told me that everything is good to go.
Yet, I can't ever get to the character selection screen as the game will load after I hit enter, then give me the Marmot.
I don't know what to do anymore. Even going to 'regedit'. I don't have an AuthRoot file to try that fix.

i actually found a solution, so what you have to do is (if ur on steam) -right click on destiny 2 -then click on properties -lastly click on verify integrity of files (this should do the work and say how many files were missing and steam will download and copy the files on ur computer) hope this helps :D

3 commentairesI just bought a new pc build and downloaded destiny 2 for the first time on this computer. Haven't even gotten to log into the game for the first time because of these exact same problems! I've tried the same fixes and cannot find the AuthRoot file people seem to be talking about either. Hopefully Bungie releases a fix as there seems to be nothing else we can do on our side for software or hardware.
