I received a warning issue when logging in after a week away about my "connection being unstable"; It "causing issues for other players" and "if the issue continues your account may restricted in matchmaking functions" or something along those lines. Thing is, I have a bad connection by default and I can't just go and replace it on a whim. I also have close to 2500 hours in the game, been here since vanilla D2, yet I've NEVER had any complaints about my connection until recently. Why is my account being threatened for something I can't control or could be someone just raging? I'll tell ya, my account getting restricted will be the last straw. I'm a PVP player mostly these days and I just bought Beyond Light about a month ago; won't even be able to experience it going forward if my account is restricted. ADDRESS THIS PLEASE!

While you may not have much control over your network situation, there is 1 thing you can control.....which game mode(s) you play so that your connection doesn’t ruin it for others.

I got an actual restriction yesterday. I had a warning a couple of weeks ago. It’s kind of strange how after 6 years of Destiny, it’s only an ‘unstable connection’ now. I guess some people got salty about being killed in pvp and salty about me burning primevals with stasis and lament :/

Hi dude, To start with, I don‘t have a solution to your issue. I just would like to share that I have exactly the same issue as you do. I‘ve clocked in thousands of hours (since D2 launch) and I am like you mostly playing PVP. I just got handed my 2nd restriction within 2 weeks and there was not even a warning like I see from many other players. So after 3 years they decided my connection is suddenly not good anymore, even though I did some fixes during my 1st restriction time of two weeks. Please watch out when you get restricted, or after the lift, mine came out of the blue. Twice.

I got a restriction after more than 3000 hours of playing. I have had the same connection the entire time, and no speed or latency issues whenever I check. However, the past months I've been matched with plenty of players not from my continent (f.ex. Asian players), and many of these lag all over the place (and I guess so do I to them). I'm assuming some must have reported me. But how is it my fault that Bungie match me with a peer to peer connection to players far far away? I have no control over that. Yet I get a restriction over their incompetent product. It's preposterous. I've left the game. Bungie can shove it up their backside.

I beem having the same issue, first i was banner for 2 weeks, and after some time now i got a 2 mounths ban from mathmaking activities like crucible or gambit, its good to notice that i didint disconected 1 single game since my first ban and never had this problem before, im from Brasil and not too rich so i have like 5 mb Internet, but yet i have this feelings that somehing is wrong here and i dont deserve those bans...

i had the warning a month ago for whatever reason, yesterday my wifi went off for a few mins and as i tried to reconnect the game was allready over and now im banned since over 24 Hours allready. if u get that msg they on yo ass to ban u for a long ass time and btw i never rage leave a comp game i play most of the time 1 vs 3 cause a lot of people are leaving. and the ban is for every pvp activitie withh literally no info on why u got banned or for how long when meanwhile people cheat for weeks against known streamers and are still playing.

I was going to post about a bug or 2 in the game that I’ve encountered. Screw them, they can find them on their own
