Title. It would make this game what it should be. Loot and accomplishments. Not who has the least amount of a real life.
-
That’s not happening. I liked the d1 AoT system.
-
-
Never gonna happen. If they removed the light level grind, you'd get complaints of "not enough content" when everyone can clear raids and master lost sectors on day 1.
-
Honestly right now, leveling is making me NOT want to play the game.
-
The whole point of a looter shooter is the grind for power, you had your time in vanilla when you were catered to casual
-
Git Gud?
-
Its easier than ever to hit 1250 this season with powerfuls dropping from playlist activities even after you've exhausted your weekly challenges
-
It's being designed as an mmo RPG. Power level comes with the territory. Plus it's literally easier to level up than ever before. Powerful reward sources are practically optional optimization at this point. I'm a big fan of the state of the level system.

Modifié par Yamabushi999i : 11/25/2020 8:20:26 PMAbsolutely. The grind isn't content. The outcome is a vault full of loot you can't use at a whim, for fun, to experiment with in the light-power activities. It's a pointless feature. If they want a level grind, make it LOOT INDEPENDENT. - It's also a formidable barrier to entry putting off returning players at any point in a season. - It also means - should you choose to switch to newest higher power gear during levelling - that you play all the new season content and the new season campaigns with a whole bunch of trash gear on. Those things actively conflict ruining the new content.

I think there should only be an increase in power in the fall expansion, they rely on leveling to carry seasonal content too much ,it’s annoying having to grind 50 levels every 3 months And they increase everyone’s power at the end of the year anyway to make a mockery of those who thought getting to max power was an accomplishment -
In my opinion the very basic rpg element should stay in an rpg
-
I wouldnt mind it IF we actually had a bunch of new modes and loot that you get from doing your seasonal power grind, but this time around it's almost identical to the last few seasons.
-
I mean power levels is pretty irrelevant right now as it is, I was at the 1250 at the start of last week so all that’s left is pinnacle levels but I don’t really care about that
-
Power leveling is the easiest it's ever been. No lifers will still have the edge on everyone since armor builds and weapons take time to perfectly roll.
-
I was thinking this all week!
-
Grinding the power level out is the most boring part of every season. I’d much rather just play activities and just pursue loot instead of an artificial number. I’d imagine that would increase the amount of players playing higher tier activities but I also have a feeling that the servers couldn’t handle the influx of players. Lol
-
Reducing the difficulty by getting stronger is actually quite weird, it's like if in Doom Eternal the only way to finish the game in nightmare was by getting better weapons and not thank skill.
-
Completly agree with you. I really hate lightleveling every 3 months. Unfortunately it inflates playertime so I don't expect it to change🤔
-
LoL that’s never going to happen. They’re not trying to decrease your playtime on purpose.
-
For solo players, leveling is almost 100% of the game. Yeah, great idea, lol.
-
I think there’s something to be said about how Bungie deals with power creep (like how it got so bad they literally took out 60% of the game) but I don’t think light means what you think it means. It took me about 4 hours to get from 1050 to 1250 you just gotta be efficient.
-
Power is the one of the worst parts of the game, because of how it works and how you increase it. They need to stop increasing it each season.
-
It's really easy to get up to 1250 this season?!
-
If you want to know how to level up efficiently, I would be more than happy to share, you can easily hit 1250 without being a no-life. If you don't want advice on how to level up efficiently, then kindly stop complaining about leveling up in a MMO style shooter.
-
Grinding power levels is boring and has no plus since everything matches your level anyway. It’s 100% completely useless.
-
That’s extremely dumb for an MMO to do. Lol you need leveling not only in any RPG but especially MMOs. If they want people to stick around they have to have something to grind towards.
