Expiration Date on Weapons Kills Motivation to get them
Bungie you see the out cry from the community about this issue. Its like the time when the community asked you to remove enhancement cores from infusion and you refused your runing the player experience putting time gates on weapons and arnor the game is fun when your not forcing sunsetting and you make better weapons that players want

Sure it sucks, losing a weapon that you've come to love over the past year or so but in order for new weapons to shine, old weapons need to go otherwise powercreep becomes a problem. It is the basis of an MMO, always ever evolving. To tell a short story: Back when I was raiding MC and BWL, never got to do Naxx unfortunately (Damn you Vaelastraz!) I remember having a convo with some guildies over Ventrilo and coming to the realization that the all tier gear that I earned over the past year, T1 and T2 (oooh that Netherwind set) would become obsolete. They pretty much responded with a simple "yep!" and we just kept playing PvP or doing dungeons/raids. So to sum it up, this is the model of an MMO either accept it or not. Sorry bud = /
