Whether you wanted it or not...it is the way that Bungie is going so either climb down the cross and use the wood to build a bridge and get over it or just stay up there and keep complaining. I've come to terms with it over a decade ago when I started playing games that are more like a service rather than one offs and it's high time you should consider it as well. Not trying to hurt your feelings just being honest.

Yes, [i][u]actual[/u][/i] MMOs sunset equipment with every large expansion, so that you can't take it with you. That's all fine and dandy, been there...done that. Destiny however [i]isn't[/i] an MMO, it's a games for service that [i]claims[/i] it is and until it makes serious changes then mobiles will be more of an MMO than D2.

Same principle still exists though, you have a vault full of god rolls and new content comes out, does any loot matter when you have a vault full of god rolls?

Now, do hard core players? Yes, but they aren't the majority of the fan base by any stretch of the imagination. You forget that people don't play this game daily or even leave and come back after weeks or months absence, and with RNG you don't have God rolls just falling from the sky into your lap. So your example doesn't track. I would have still been grinding for better Moon weapons if not for sunsetting and I know a few people who were until the announcement.

My vault is around 250 and I have my usual loadouts on me. Only time I go to the vault is to pull out the odd exotic. What I was getting at was a example, I’m anbow main and my best weapon was from forsaken.
