With the onset of Beyond Light there will be exactly one legendary Machine Gun that can be upgraded unless BL introduces more. (and that is the SAW from last season and it's meh)

The thing SAW has going for it is "highlights enemy targets" I have an auto loading & vorpal SAW that isn't too bad.
