Ex. Season of Gambit gnawing hunger God roll vs season of arrivals gnawing hunger. Can I just infuse old one? Or give the new one the perks I already own?

What I was hoping for was all new weapons. Sunsetting weapons only to find out they aren't sunsetting the weapon itself. Just the weapons in our vault.. That seems rather pointless.
-
My guess is this season will likely be an exception instead of the rule. Guns in the future will likely have reworked perk pools, if they keep rereleasing guns with the same perk pools the same meta guns will just be meta again and I doubt they want that. So not being able to infuse the guns is likely to get us use to the idea of needing new versions instead of dusting off an old one from your vault.

I don’t mind reginding to much, my big thing with sunsetting is that some activities in the game haven’t had their power caps raised like dreaming city and moon stuff.
-
Yep. I really wish Bungie wasn't taking this approach of reissuing soon to be sunset weapons, but if they are then this seems like a fair compromise.
-
how they rolled it out would have made sense if they changed the perk pools for the weapons, and actually even put them on ice for a season or two. However, they didn't change a damn thing but held our old ones back so we would have to regrind. What makes this worse, is the update treatment they gave to all the stored raid armors as well as the LW and GoS weapons shows it easily could have been applied to the "reissued" weapons. I am not for sunsetting in any capacity, however, there would still be much better ways to implement it.

What you really mean is.....nerf fusion rifles.

Just to point out... they DID do a his for LW armor and weapons. You didn’t have to regrind that gear. So it is possible for them to do that. Idk why they didn’t treat all weapons the same. Might’ve been because they’re part of a raid? Idk.

This should only apply for weapons that are IDENTICAL, like gnawing. If future weapons return with different perks then they should be considered different weapons.

Modifié par Demon_XXVII : 9/29/2020 2:53:59 AMInfuse the weapon/armour power cap stat 👍 From 1060 to 1360 etc 5 Prisms ?

I've been playing this game for 6 years. And just recently, I'm surprised to find out that when Bungo makes a Video Game, it comes out as a Magic Card game! Bungie Logic!
-
But then bungie dont get extended player grind time
-
It shouldn’t even require infusion costs. If they are going to reintroduce an old weapon back exactly as is, your icon should just update.
-
You assume they don't want you regrind gear you already own. That was an intentional decision, not a flaw in their arrogant eyes. Sunset my gear, sunset my business.
-
Nerf fusion rifles?

Bring back strange coins that allows us to buy old UO weapon skins or allows us to to turn any previously earn gear set into UO There’s so much dope gear that I wish I could have as UO
-
Sorry. That would make sense.
-
No Sunsetting would be even easier.
