So bungie, when are we gonna get some new and exciting catalysts. You did an AMAZING job with Trinity Ghoul this season, but what about weapons like Malfeasance, Chaperone, Last Word, Tarrabah, Xeno, etc?
What weapons do y'all want to get catalysts.
Personally, I really want a Malfeasance catalyst. Such a cool gun concept that has been killed because 180s are doggy in pve and somewhat awful in pvp.

Edit: i just checked to make sure and its not malfeasance, its actually deathbringer

Wavesplitter is one of the most neglected exotics currently in the game it doesn’t have a catalyst nor a single ornament

I think every exotic weapon should get one. Some of the no-catalyst weapons are pretty mediocre, and after seeing what happened to Trinity Ghoul when it got one, I think a good catalyst could help out a lot of these weapons. Here's what I would personally like to see: Arbalest: Hits instantly break energy shields (even with Match Game on). Wish-Ender: Kills greatly reduce draw time. Chaperone: The Roadborn now activates on precision hits instead of precision kills. Malfeasance: Embedded slugs will seek out other enemies on the target's death. Last Word: Temporarily increases hip-fire precision damage after a kill. Thorn: Remnants track to you faster and from farther away. Picking up a Remnant heals you. Bastion: Increases mag to 6. Kills add additional shots to the next burst. Monte Carlo: Markov Chain increases melee damage (20% per stack). Traveler's Chosen: Gathering Light stacks now increase range. Consuming stacks heals you (more stacks=more healing). Wavesplitter: Power level can now be selected by holding reload. Low power has no recoil and high range. Medium power has medium range and has increased precision damage. High power has reduced range but pierces targets. (I remember seeing this idea somewhere on the forums and I thought it would be really cool.) Jötunn: Increased blast radius. The fire AoE lasts longer. Le Monarque: Precision kills leave behind a poison cloud. Tarrabah: No longer loses charge when switching weapons. Kills while Ravenous Beast is active increase its duration. Divinity: Penance activates more often. Devil's Ruin: Hits with regular shots increase the damage of the next laser (stacks up to 10x, 10% damage per stack). One Thousand Voices: +1 to reserves. Increases duration of beam. Two-Tailed Fox: Adds a third Arc rocket that deals low damage, but blinds enemies in a large radius. Queenbreaker: Hold reload to swap between scopes. Marksman sights further increase range and damage. Combat sights further decrease charge time and handling. Thunderlord: Multikills return ammo to the magazine. Anarchy: Arc traps link together from farther away. Truth: Rockets deal more damage the farther they travel. Deathbringer: Orbs split in two as they descend. Xenophage: Increased stability. Hits apply a burning effect to enemies. Leviathan's Breath: Faster draw time. Leviathan's sigh pushes enemies farther. Heir Apparent: Increases range, stability, and precision damage while stationary.

Malfeasance catalyst makes slugs explode after 4 instead of 5 and your fireteam members slugs count

I just wish all exotic weapons had them, sure some don't really need anything really added (arbalast and jotunn come to mind), but orbs of light on multikill is nice to have

I want chaperone to get a catalyst that basically adds Icarus to it. This things has some really weird in air accuracy. I’ll aim for the head and get a body shot, I’ll aim for their feet and get a headshot. I reach the point where I simply don’t jump with chaperone.

Modifié par Demon_XXVII : 9/27/2020 3:27:22 PMIf there’s ANY catalyst that needs a rework It’s the [i]Mida MultiTool[/i] Hidden away in the highest ranks of Comp, only adds [i]Outlaw[/i] to a weapon class that never stood a chance, especially after Bows were introduced It should get KillClip (minimum), Headseeker & grant flinch, flip between stasis ammo & marked tracking (targeting for teammates) like a SOFLAM GLTD designator for guided munitions (specific Grenade Launchers/Rockets/Precision Guided Munitions for Snipers/Linear Fusion) A True Multi Tool 👍

Malfeasance does need something, considering the quest was tougher than many weapons that are much better. It would help if it had superior range. I know the explosive rounds kill at any range, but in pve it's not useful if it takes 5 rounds to kill an acolyte at any reasonable range.
