Hi there, As most of you will know, Bungie believe their game has become too large, although I don't agree with this, it's ultimately their choice and they may be taking actions to rectify this; however, I believe I have an idea that may help maintain their lower file size for a little longer without having to delete content. My idea is to separate raids, strikes, crucible, gambit, and even the campaigns from the game and turn them into downloadable content (free of course), leaving the absolute minimum base game to be played. Content such as weapons and armour, mods, and other bits that are required to exist so the player can see other's using them will remain with the base game, but the activities themselves will become modular alongside the base game. This will leave the size of the game (or most of it) to the player; perhaps you don't like playing PvP? Uninstall crucible and gambit, the game will still work as intended, you just can't partake in any of those activities; or maybe you're bored of playing strikes? Just remove them, lower file size without removing what you do want to play. For strikes and raids, they can be separated another level down to the individual maps, maybe you're up to raid the Crown of Sorrow? Just install the Crown of Sorrow, no need to wait to install every single raid when you're only planning on playing one of them, and just remove it once you're done with it. When coming across things that require certain activities, it will mention it, perhaps you have a bounty that requires crucible but you don't have it installed? It will let you know that you need it in order to complete the bounty. Using this method of modular files, it could put an end to seasonal activities disappearing, it could prevent Titan from being removed (maybe, I'm not sure if this is going to happen), you could replay the activities of any season with your friends, just install the season. Or maybe you're like me and believe the game isn't actually that big and have more than enough space to house all of the content and more, in that case, install EVERYTHING, there's nothing holding you back with your 999TB of storage. This puts the size of the game into the player's hands, so the developers can rest easy knowing they don't have to worry about it as much anymore. Thank you.
