What needs to be nerfed but I'm sure won't be is the special ammo economy. All these complaints about mindbender's, bastion, etc would ALL be fixed if there were less special ammo in the game. Special is literally all over the place. Slap on scav mods and you can easily go an entire match crutching special.
That is not what pvp should be. You should be forced to use a primary and special should be situational only.

I’ve been saying this forever now. I win gunfights because my weapon kills in one hit and theirs doesn’t and then I pick up their ammo with my scavenger perk on. I get outplayed and out skilled, but still out gun my opponents. My crutch is the Wizened Rebuke and I’m willing to admit the ammo economy needs change. We don’t need D2 Year 1, but we also don’t need to be able to use our special weapon the whole game.

Yeah special ammo scavengers really shouldn't stack, at least in PvP. You can slap on two generic special ammo scav mods, equip two special weapons, and get 3 shots for each from one ammo brick.

Even just one Scavenger mod is enough for most games. It's ridiculous.

You obviously think it's OK to main special weapons then because that is currently what we have right now. Reducing the special economy a bit is not crap and it forces players to stop crutching special. Only players that crutch special would have a problem with this. There is a big difference between being able to main special weapons with special everywhere compared to D1 crucible. Exaggerate much? Stop being so melodramatic.
