It’s pretty good considering the hand cannon artifact mods you can put on. Decent rolls, mindbenders...there’s better PVE shotguns.

Why not balance things differently for pvp and pve just curious.

They literally have been for years dude. Weapon damage by archetype has been balanced separately in PvP and PvE Damage perks have been balanced differently between the two Abilities/perks that grant energy for kills are balanced differently between combatant and guardian kills. Super damage is tweaked separately between the two

Not entirely though the nerfs due to pvp had some impact on pve so people are complaining about pvp ruining pve .
