Trials of Osiris reward solutions.

You've probably heard this from a number of different people, but the state of trials seems to be upsetting a lot of folk. Why is this. 1) Lack of incentive to go flawless or progress as far as possible. 2) High level players farming tokens by beating lower skilled players and reseting their card after 3 wins to avoid playing in the big leagues. The first problem is that there are no Adept weapons. Which is something that needs to be rectified. Adept weapons should be seen as something truly special and should be worth obtaining. But how to set them apart from the regular versions beyond a simple colour scheme? In Destiny 1 all Adept weapons had an extra intrinsic perk be it Last Resort in the first two years and then snapshot sights in year three. Because D2 does not work on this format I was thinking that Adept weapons should come fully masterworked and have an additional fourth column perk this perk could automatically be Celerity or just be an additional random perk. Going Flawless could also allow for curated adept weapons. The second problem might seem tricky but the solution is actually quite simple. Only give out Trials tokens to players once players get 7 wins on their card. Up until that point players will only get Crucible tokens for their wins. This means that only those who have got 7 wins will be able to farm the Trials weapons and armour by getting Trials token. Everyone else will need to rely on two weekly Trials of Osiris weekly bounties with one giving a Trials weapon and the other a Trials armour piece. This is just my opinion but I think it is one that I think will work.

[/quote] Introducing Adept weapons will just make another NF/Luna/Recluse Rich-get-richer situation. Please STOP advocating for broken metas where the BEST PvP Godslayers get the ABSOLUTE best weapons that average people won't be getting. It's NOT good for the game as a whole. [/quote] Elite sweatlords stuck to lower wins because they wanted an Astral Horizon godrolls, and resetting their cards meant their loot-pool was kept small, e.g. a higher chance of getting the Astral. So... Let them pick the loot they get every time they go Flawless. Have a vendor at the lighthouse that you can feed tokens; you get to choose what to buy with your tokens from your un-locked lootpool. Here's an example of how that could look for your card: Game 1: 3 Tokens on win 1 on a loss. Game 2: 5 Tokens on win 3 on a loss. Game 3: 7 Tokens on win 5 on a loss. Game 4: 9 Tokens on win 7 on a loss. Game 5: 11 Tokens on win 9 on a loss. Game 6: 13 Tokens on win 11 on a loss. Game 7: 15 Tokens on win 13 on a loss. Game 8: 17 Tokens on win 15 on a loss. Game 9: 19 Tokens on win 17 on a loss. Game 10: 21 Tokens on win 19 on a loss. If you went flawless on that card you also get 20 extra tokens. All of a sudden you've HEAVILY insentivized people to finish their cards. You want a god-rolled Astral Horizon? The most efficient way is to go to the lighthouse and buy a ton of them, using the bucketload of tokens you got on your journey.
