Iron Banner is the only content that PVP players can run to earn pinnacle rewards (and enhanced mods) while playing the type of content they love. The only other content that rewards pinnacles, mods, and materials is PVE content, specifically high level strikes. The only people grinding that content (for the most part) is hardcore PVE players. This is the paradox. Iron Banner is a bad experience because you’ve got low light PVP players matching up against 995 PVE players running the cheesiest meme load outs as possible bc they’re more powerful and “F*** PVP players!” It’s a terrible and frustrating experience for those who main PVP, but it’s fine, we don’t deserve anything bc we’re the reason that Whisper of the Worm got nerfed....LMAO
