I'm not a fan of SBMM personally (excluding Competitive which I've found pretty good this season) but I understand why its necessary for newer players and I know other players enjoy it. However not every hardcore player likes playing the meta or playing in a 6-man every game (Personally I don't enjoy playing in a fireteam period, I like playing solo and focusing solely on what I can do and how I can improve). I have a lot of off-meta weapons and builds I want to try out in PvP but currently, I'm feeling pretty discouraged to play because it doesn't feel like there's a suitable environment I can do that. I think the addition of a freelance connection-based 6v6 activity could help alleviate some of the current issues players like myself are having in regards to PVP.
