Im not a direct proponent or critic of this solution, but it would be the most universal solution for everyone’s complaints. Everyone seems to be complaining about one-shot weapons within the crucible, such as fusions or shotguns, especially due to the fact that a guardian get two shots of it on spawn. For me, it would be ideal if boxes would spawn containing special ammo, appearing sometime similar every sixth period of the game or so. I don’t believe the sidearm meta would reappear in such a way as it was in D1, since the nature of gunplay and sidearms are not completely the same. As a result of this change, primary gunfights would be encouraged, but it wouldn’t be enforced as it was in vanilla D2, as there would still be a notable presence. Under this system people would use special weapons periodically instead of constantly. With grenade launchers, such as the fighting lion, the ammo economy should be adjusted foe PvP only, making them so they cam only accept special ammo. If you disagree, please respectfully discuss, so that a better proposition may be made. It adds nothing and makes one look like a buffoon if they make a trite insult.
