Seeing the winning submissions for fashion week today raised an important question for me. I was looking through the hunters and saw an entry that won that had a striking resemblance to my own submission, which made me wonder, was this a coincidence or did this person rip my concept? I can only assume its an unfortunate coincidence, but that raised another question for me. Will my subsequent submission in the next fashion week not be considered seeing as a similar entry has already won? Do I need to come up with a completely new concept in order to have a chance at winning the next one? Id really like an answer to this seeing as it seems somewhat unfair to have a system in which someone can have a very similar design, even though it is very unique, and still have one either out of coincidence or it being a copy. Thnx in advance for any answers.
