So I just started back on Destiny when Cross Save launched because I can finally carry over my first year and a half's worth of progress. I have been playing the game having fun working towards getting all of these achievements checked off. I did not think I was going to be able to get them all so I was not being super strategic. Then I had a single day where I just won ever single comp game but 1 and got revoker, I got into a chill clan who I ran all 3 raids with and I got in a few good groups where we completed almost every menagerie challenge. That brings me to the final 2 triumphs I have with about a week left, the prime fashion and gambit pinnacle. I have kinda been farming the breakneak along the way but I could not get the helmet to drop for me in reckoning and someone told me, last week, I had to do the quest. Naturally I did the quest and got the helmet and was kinda done for the week with it anyway but then this week, now that I have all the raids and what not complete, I decided to grind for it just to realize you can only upgrade your synthesizer one time per week. Well I have the purple one since I upgraded it so I decided maybe if I do the quest with the purple synth and just use a different version (ie: collector instead of reaper) I will get the notorious. Grinded a bunch of T3 reckonings to get the other armor pieces and then 5 games of prime to get the other part done and... illicit... So am I just -blam!- by this timegate Bungie? Nothing I can do? Just because I did not realize you time gated that season's content? Thanks in advance for a response.
