Two month restriction
I received a two week matchmaking restriction a couple months ago, and haven’t had any networking problems. I now just got a two month restriction for matchmaking, and again haven’t had any network problems. I’ve been playing both Destiny 1 and Destiny 2 from the start, and have never been restricted for internet connections or any other reasons.
It makes me wonder if I’m just getting restricted because of people that I play in competitive, and they get mad so they just report you for stupid reasons, so they default to the connection reasoning. Now that I’ve received a two month restriction, I’m afraid to even play crucible again once the restrictions been lifted, because the next one could be permanent. With Shadowkeep coming out soon I would love to be playing the game, and especially crucible, but again I’m scared to. I would love to hear an explanation from Bungie, on why I’m getting restricted.

25 commentairesHappening to me aswell, serisouly, Bungie is the worst company i have ever seen, I see tons of people staying afk and lefting matches, i have done nothing wrong, and some people report for no reason at all, you get permabanned RIDICULOUS I AM REFUNDING MY SHADOWKEEP BUY

So, you got the two week suspension and ignored it? Then kept playing with your internet unchanged and got the 2 month suspension? Are you going to try and fix your internet this time? Are you on wifi? If so, go hard wired.

Restrictions [i]will not[/i] be overturned until their duration has passed. Use this time to stabilise and improve your network connection so that you stop harming games for other players. The first restriction will last two weeks. If you do not fix your connection, the next will be two months. If you still persist in ruining the game for others, you will be permanently banned from PVP in Destiny 2. Please be considerate of others and work on fixing your connection, to avoid further repercussions. [b]You are having network issues.[/b] Your connection is either not sufficient or stable enough, or both, for Destiny 2. Pay attention this time. Your next restriction will be permanent.

It sounds pretty obvious why. People report you for lagging, bungie checks the numbers from the matches you were reported, and issues a restriction if they see lag or inconsistent connection
