Did all that and the quest still says "reset 5 times"
What happens now? I'm not grinding 5 resets again - especially as I already have the triumph

Yep you have to play 100 more hours of crucible because even though everyone all season got credit for thar quest step out of order, you didn't complete your bounties by the 26th. It wasn't posted in game. It wasn't even that clear in the newsletter that most people don't read either. No the answer to you question was posted in Twitter. Don't you look to Twitter when something in a video games makes complete sense? I mean when I read reset your Valor in A SINGLE SEASON, and see all my friends get credit for that step when they weren't on it, we should have started researching out side sources.

I got 2k valor in 2 hours by just keeping a 5 win streak in rumble. So I don't know about you but it won't take 100 hours of crucible, realistically like 10-15 hours if you are good and are able to keep your win streak. P.S you dont even have to come in first to keep the streak, I would like to say you can be in the top three, dont quote me on that. But i do know for certainty that if you are in second place then you will keep the win steak going (all of what I'm saying is about rumble).

Hmmm I had the bounties completed and the 5 resets by the 26th though.. 5th reset about 4hrs before the season ended.

Me too.... As did all of us probably. I'm on your side it's wrong. They put critical information about a 100 hr quest on a update list no one read. And Twitter.... Smfh it's the dumbest thing I've ever experienced with destiny. I've posted in atleast a dozen different users threads here, another 100 on reddit. Not a single Dev response. Bottom line is your screwed, somehow we should've known to look towards third party sources. And no one really cares because we are all idiots for not reading the newsletter.
