Redrix's Broadsword Quest Steps
Hey all,
Yesterday, we announced the goal of removing time pressure associated with Glory ranks, and that Pinnacle Crucible rewards will be awarded via quests starting in Season 4.
Redrix’s Claymore will remain exclusive to Season 3. The Redrix’s Broadsword will be available through a pinnacle weapon questline in Season 4 offered by Lord Shaxx. To set expectations, here are the quest steps that must be completed in order to acquire Redrix’s Broadsword:

• In the Crucible. Defeat 200 opponents with Pulse Rifle final blows.

• Reach Valor Rank “Heroic”
[b]Step 3: [/b]
• In the Crucible. Earn 75 Double Plays.

• In the Crucible. Defeat 150 opponents with precision final blows from any Pulse Rifle.
[b]Step 5: [/b]
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Arc final blows
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Solar final blows
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Void final blows

• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Quickplay (Rotators count)
• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Competitive
• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Rumble

• Complete 20 Crucible Bounties
[b]Step 8:[/b]
• Reset your Valor rank 5 times within a single season
[b]Step 9:[/b]
• Visit Lord Shaxx and claim your reward.[/quote]

4 commentairesAnyone know if we're working on every step simultaneously, or one at a time. Some seem obvious, like the rank reset, but are we working on the 25 games/pulse/solar kills (for example) at the same time?

Then it allows more people to experience the perks, while the people who got the claymore will still have a reason to use the claymore over the broadsword. Rather than the claymore being a gun that collects dust in the vault.

Dang, I just barely finished resetting my Valor tank for the third time and this season’s almost over..

Everything is easy except the reset Valor Rank 5 times. Hope Bungie does more Double Valor Rank XP and It won’t be too bad. Double XP should be every weekend or every other weekend like CoD has.

Just changing the name doesn’t make it not a lie. Bring forth redrix‘s pulserifle to year two for those who earned it. Make the broadsword a auto rifle or any weapon type and hold your promise.

3 commentairesSome steps are easy like the match completions 25 matches on all three playlists But the rank reset maybe set it lower like 2 or 3 times as not everyone here plays 24/7 And maybe tune down the double plays a bit to like 30 or 25 And the elemental final blows how bout making them 25 on all three

5 commentairesReset Valor Rank 5 times!!! Yeah ok, so basically another gun that less than 1% will own because that's a shit ton of crucible. Especially if you run solo. SMH at that Bungle

I find all of this funny as redrixs claymore more often then not comes off second best to vw and Gl. Those that grind for it or have good luck to ya but pretty sure it will have its equal or as we currently see better weapons given Bungie history only time will tell

5 commentairesAt first I thought this was good , but the more I think about it , the 5 resets is just to much so we have a choice, either spend the season doing crucible chasing this one weapon and don’t do other activities or just forget about this quest and play the rest of the game . I know I won’t have time to do both .prob some will be happy to play crucible only ,maybe the streamers who make a living playing this game 10 to 12 hrs a day will like it , they can do both but normal working people don’t have a choice really . Bungle I already have a full time job , I don’t need another one ! I really don’t mind grinding for stuff but when its probably going to take a full season to grind this weapon and miss out on the rest of the game this grind is overkill. Maybe I should just keep my money in my pocket this time round

2 commentairesWith all the cheating and paid recoveries for claymore, imo everyone should have to do the quest for broadsword. That would suck for the few that earned claymore legit, but all the cheaters are still being rewarded for cheating. Also, for that matter, the midseason rules change screwed many of out of the claymore. Maybe the new matchmaking is the way it should have been, maybe not. Not arguing that at all, but I know many of us were screwed when they did it. For example, I solo grinded to 1700 prior to the change and haven't won a match since. Cool, I'm not good enough but doesn't change the fact the midseason change screwed me. Anyways, don't reward the cheaters and the people who paid for it. Make everyone do the quest before they can receive the broadsword!

Redrix’s Broadsword may not be the only quest line weapon released in season 4. There could quite possibly be smaller quests released during the season. 2. The Luna’s Howl a lot of people are expecting to be the weapon you get from a glory rank grind is not the case! I could be wrong and this might have already been cleared up somewhere else.

8 commentairesWith a fair level of dedication this can be done in one week. I'm not sure what the fuss is about. I'm a scrub in pvp and a filthy casual to boot, however, can see me having this gun by the second week.

I'm not big on pvp I am trash gosh it took such a long time for me to do the VW catalyst but I did it I'll most definitely be giving it a go for the broadsword I won't get it I know that much but I'll have some fun none the less Play it for what it is, not going to expect a lot from my own skill I'm not that good If I was to get it I think I'd be damn proud
