Hey all,
Yesterday, we announced the goal of removing time pressure associated with Glory ranks, and that Pinnacle Crucible rewards will be awarded via quests starting in Season 4.
Redrix’s Claymore will remain exclusive to Season 3. The Redrix’s Broadsword will be available through a pinnacle weapon questline in Season 4 offered by Lord Shaxx. To set expectations, here are the quest steps that must be completed in order to acquire Redrix’s Broadsword:

when i went to shaxx after completing the campaign, he didn't have the quest for me...any theories as to why?
-
Do you have to use a pulse for step 3 ?
-
What do they mean by rotators count
-
If I reset my valor rank before I get to the quest step will it count towards the 5 total resets?
-
How do you reset Valor Rank??
-
This game is already shit wtf are you doing with your lives 5 times -blam!- off it should be 15 iv already reset about 49 times this seasons so bungie stop do it like you did with the claymore reach legendary stop macking these dumbass steps there shity just like your game exactly my point love you but its true
-
Double plays seems like the only difficult one tbh. Is this retroactive? Will my arc final blows count, while I'm completing steps that come before it?
-
Why is that a crucible quest has no pve but any pve quests always involves damn crucible it is bs
-
“Reset your rank 5 times.” Seriously? SERIOUSLY? S E R I O U S L Y ?
two steps forward one step back
Honestly its fine the way it was. Just don't make it king of the hill.
-
I thought bungies favourite number was 7. How about we delete steps 8 and 3 to bring in down to 7 steps. Thank you very much.
-
Also 9 steps So which one of the crucible devs is German?

Do people understand that you can complete multiple steps at once, so while you’re grinding to reset 5 times you will likely satisfy most of the other shit? Also, the quest is around forever. The only thing that is tied to the season is resetting rank 5 times in any season. Don’t get it done this season, try again next season. Basically, Bungie listened to feedback that limited-time rewards weren’t great for people who can’t dedicate a ton of time to Destiny in short bursts. So, this is perfect for people who want to take their time and earn things at their own pace. To the 8000 people who got claymore, you can start redeeming packages for a god roll broadsword weeks and months before the rest of us. So, it’s not like your badassery was ignored. (The emblem is bullshit. I’ll never forgive Bungie for putting so much emphasis on those stupid things, but that’s my issue to work out) So, let’s move on, shall we? Or, at least try to understand that Bungie gets yelled at by people because rewards are too easy to get, then they lock stuff behind Prestige raids and get yelled at for it being too difficult, and now they’re getting yelled at for both things at once on the same reward! So, ya know, just relax and have fun playing a video game every once in a while.

Imagine the salt if you can trade an expired spicy ramen coupon for a Claymore on Sept. 4...
-
• Reset your Valor rank 5 times within a single season
Are they kidding???
-
So if you have claymore, you get broadsword, but do you need to stay rank 3 in season 3 or just need claymore.

Modifié par Tav : 8/20/2018 6:46:31 PMUse dedicated server's for the crucible and some people might bother to grind for it. Or they can just pay a DDoSer/Lag cheat to scam it for them...
-
Modifié par Agent Racer X : 8/22/2018 3:31:15 PMI have redrix claymore and I love everyone gets a chance to earn a similar weapon through a long quest line and that claymore will no longer be available, but claymore owners can simply have broadsword drop in an engram. I think Bungie got this 100% no matter what all the cry babies on either side may say! If I changed anything about the whole thing, I’d let claymore owners do the quest also for a catalyst for claymore. Only because Broadsword has potential to be a better fun than claymore because of random rolls.

Modifié par Deus EP : 8/21/2018 10:50:24 PMThe Season 4 Grind for Broadsword satisfies me. Anger over Valor Reset/Quest proves once again, overall Destiny players are entitled snowflakes to the core!!
-
Damn. All that for a legendary pulse rifle!? That’s almost like the Thorn bounty. Lol
-
So is this same thing going to happen for Luna's Howl? Grind glory for it in S4, then in S5 it'll just be behind a questline and called Luna's Roar instead?
I'm kinda okay with a system like this; shame Claymore is becoming irrelevant though.
-
So have they said if any of the steps run concurrent?
-
Why is it that a crucible quest has no PvE steps, but every PvE quest always involves the damn crucible?
It's ridiculous.
-
You should not tie anything to PVP for a PVE game. Period.
-
Meanwhile I have the claymore so I skip all this. :)
