Redrix's Broadsword Quest Steps
Hey all,
Yesterday, we announced the goal of removing time pressure associated with Glory ranks, and that Pinnacle Crucible rewards will be awarded via quests starting in Season 4.
Redrix’s Claymore will remain exclusive to Season 3. The Redrix’s Broadsword will be available through a pinnacle weapon questline in Season 4 offered by Lord Shaxx. To set expectations, here are the quest steps that must be completed in order to acquire Redrix’s Broadsword:

• In the Crucible. Defeat 200 opponents with Pulse Rifle final blows.
[b]Step 2: [/b]
• Reach Valor Rank “Heroic”
[b]Step 3: [/b]
• In the Crucible. Earn 75 Double Plays.
[b]Step 4: [/b]
• In the Crucible. Defeat 150 opponents with precision final blows from any Pulse Rifle.
[b]Step 5: [/b]
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Arc final blows
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Solar final blows
• In the Crucible, defeat 50 opponents with Void final blows

• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Quickplay (Rotators count)
• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Competitive
• Complete 25 Crucible matches in Rumble

• Complete 20 Crucible Bounties

• Reset your Valor rank 5 times within a single season

I just finished Step 7 and Step 8 is now indicating I need to reset Valor 5 times. This season (4) I have reset 11 times, I have tried all solutions found online with no success

2 commentairesQuick question, if i reset my valor rank 5 times and get 50 finally kills with all 3 elements before even getting to those steps does that count towards the quest or will i have to do it again

4 commentairesHi!... so i reset my valor rank 5 times this season (literally just reset this a few minutes ago) and the quest step did not complete... any idea why? If this is a bug or something? I busted the grind and I am pretty annoyed that the quest step did not complete. If there is no fix for this, looks like i'm moving on from this game. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

16 commentairesCan someone please explain why I've reset my valor 5 times and did not get my next quest step to go talk to Lord Shaxx. I did not spend the past 2 weeks with the little time I have to play grinding out Crusible to have the game take all that hard work away from me. I even got a triumph unlocked for resetting 5 times. A response from someone would be greatly appreciated

4 commentairesHAHAHAHAHA... THIS IS NOT EVEN -blam!-ING WORTH IT AT THIS POINT. I am not going to suffer in Competitive just to get a legit crappy reskin. There are better pulse rifle like Go Figure, Bygones and Chattering Bones. so Redrix's Broadsword Claymore WHO GIVES A FLYING -blam!- SUCK IT!!

1 commentaireCan you complete any of the steps in any order? I played quite a bit of competitive. I'm trying to grind for lunas howl. I'm almost to heroic glory rank. I really wouldn't want to risk losing points trying to grind competitive out from scratch. So far I've been getting lucky with the wins. I dont play competitive solo. I'm hoping I can reach fabled rank before the lunas howl quest step and itll count even if I lose points and fall back to heroic.

After having completed everything, included the valor ranks, I have to wait another 4 days just to do bounties I've already done a billion times. Plus, here a Forbes article saying that "yes, it will be retroactive, as in any progress you make before step 8 will count toward that step once you get there." 21 commentairesFor anyone wondering. To clear the confusion. Reaching Heroic and resetting 5 times in a season ARE DEFINITELY RETROACTIVE. I just completed this quest and can confirm this. Do not listen to anyone, even streamers, if they tell you differently. The last step is bugged however. When you complete the 5th reset you must go to the tower and then back to orbit. Once you return to orbit the step will complete. Again, just completed this and I reached the final step when I already had 2 resets. Grinded out 3 resets over this double XP weekend and I completed this quest. Don't listen to people who have not completed this yet as they are just relaying what they have heard other places and they are wrong.

12 commentairesSo let me get this straight. I reset my rank twice is far in season 4, and I am only on the bounty step. What you're saying is that even though I reset it twice it will say I am 0/5 once I reach the last step? Please tell me that ain't so.
