As a member of the Cherokee tribe, I have never heard anyone complain about it and I live in Oklahoma where you can't throw a rock without hitting someone with an "Indian" card.

How do you know “many is a stretch”? How do you know the opinions of all Native American people? Have you done a survey? I’m white and I wouldn’t have a clue about the opinions of most white people I know. You are making an assumption about the views of [i]all[/i] native Americans based upon your own opinion and the opinion of friends and family around you. I wouldn’t know how many white people oppose this logo. How can you possibly know how many native Americans oppose it?

I work in a high traffic business that quite often goes political, I hear all sorts of opinions. Almost all Native Americans talk about the piss poor medical the tribes supply and how easy it is to fall through the cracks than being offended over an old caricature. There are much more important thing we have to deal with.

I’m sure there is. But you don’t know the opinions of all native Americans and you don’t speak for them. I would never claim to know the minds of all whites people.

Just because 50 people showed up at this particular rally doesn’t mean they are the [i]only[/i] native Americans in the whole country who are offended by it. I don’t know exactly how many are offended and how many aren’t but the point is many native Americans don’t like it. Your claim that all native Americans are fine with it is a completely bogus assumption on your part with no evidence to back it up.
