Why were they even taken away?? Too many mad kills in PvP? Really? Could it be so bad to be spraying death all over the map for 90 seconds? Even if it was such a bad thing for PvP in Bungie’s eyes... why have they also disappeared from PvE?? You could hold back machine guns from PvP if you didn’t want crucible to be played like that. Why punish the PvE fans as well?

3 commentairesNever understood why they are gone, same counts for 2 magazine rocket launchers and tracking missiles. Or the option to select the resource tracker on your ghost shell like it was in D1 (trough engrams or in the wild) Anyway, i miss thunderlord

No to Machine Guns coming back. The only way to balance them is to nerf the range and damage we get from Autos right now, and the only thing that would do is break the balance even worse.

1 commentaireI just like how they're just magically gone. No mention at any point in the story about why they're gone. We're supposed to assume that all the sudden in this reality just no one ever invented a machine gun? I mean fuq, at least have Shaxx say something about it if you stand near him long enough. Like have him randomly say "Too many pee-pee's were hurt in Crucible guardian so we had to get rid of machine guns!" Something. Anything. Nope. Poof. Gone. fap fap fap

1 commentaireDue to how Bungie wants their game, they would have likely been too strong. Kill times would be way too fast and the fact that you would be able to cross map people. They just thought it would be best to take them out...the only solution to this problem is if they bring back snipers and shotguns again due to the kill times...( special weapons need to return )

Like I've mentioned in the past: Would've been completely fine by me if they could've reduced the damage slightly and make them the "heavy hitters" of the primary weapons.

1 commentaireWon't happen, its impossible. They built this game ontop of the d1 archetype and striped from there, then re-added content using some of the old source code to replace certain items. Machine guns are now known as sub machine guns in the source code stealing the base code from machine guns.

1 commentaireI agree completely. I terribly miss my Zombie Apocalypse - there is no substitute for the proper application of massive firepower. It is difficult to imagine that the Designers/Decisionmakers would have said "Ya know, people just don't really like the machine guns in Destiny 1 - we should just remove them from Destiny 2..." It's demonstrating nearly cataclysmic deafness to user preferences... just sayin.

I too would love the return of the heavy machine gun, but in response too some other posts about nerfing, a NERF is not the answer. I couldn't stand being killed all the time by Thorne, Hawkmoon, No Land Beyond, Vex Mythoclast and i could go on but I won't. It forced me to change up my tactics or just stay out of the crucibles all together. All i can say is stop nerfing the guns please. I do agree about the side arms, they could definitely use a buff and maybe some of the grenade launchers as well, but once bungie starts nerfing look out. I personally like the idea of some OP guns in the game, even if i'm constantly being destroyed by it in the crucibles, It just gives me something to grind for
