I actually see this a lot in video games. In my mindset I think of grenades as items to finish a kill not to start one. Sure you could throw one around a corner just to weaken someone and get a quick kill but it would be just as easy to slide around put a few shots and melee.

Yeah, cuz using what's available to you is soooo... scrubby! Those dang scrubs, using their grenades first, ensuring their win, not giving me a chance. I mean... what the heck are they thinking? Don't they know? You're supposed to message before every encounter, agree on using only your primary, and count to 3 first. Ugh... just can't stand those people that actually try to do things to win, when they're competing! I guess I'll just never understand it.
