I think we all know where this is going. Officers let off the hook, another routine police execution in the great country of America.
-
Well they are going to sink that shithole with riots
-
Police are corrupt
-
It was an accident, kinda like how Vincent Vega on Pulp Fiction accidentally blew the head off the black dude. Innocent till proven guilty

Modifié par Steve of Steves : 7/7/2016 1:08:40 AMIn other news, more than 64 people were shot in Chicago over the 4th of July weekend - including 4 people who were fatally wounded, marking the City's 329th homicide this year. But, nobody's going to bring that up because we sort of expect this to happen in Chicago now. It's actually more of a concern if a homicide is NOT committed in Chicago on a daily basis.

I believe, cops get paid every so often to execute members of varying races to overlap other news. Not many people are talking Hilary Clinton being let off anymore, no ones talking about Orlando.
i don't actually believe this, I just want to see who has better theories.
The cop panicked. 6 shots is 6 shots too many. The man was a known criminal and was armed. A tazer had been used but it's unclear if it missed or not. The guy refused. He shouldn't had. Should the cop had pulled the trigger? No. Tbh I think he probably fired off way more than he meant, let alone fire in the first place. I would've preferred the cop beat the dude half to death and arrest him but even that goes against common police practice. I don't think this was a result of bad police or the result a criminal refusing. I think this is a result of the fact that police vs criminals is a domestic war. And in war there are casualties. Rip that criminal. May god have mercy.

He had an illegal gun which he was reaching for.

Propaganda for the militarization of the law enforcement. This will definitely spark some interesting conversations about the aptitude and discipline of new enrollees.
-
The only thing i find worse than the man being executed, is the fact that some try to justify it.
-
That's a real tough one to digest Just like with gun control, who knows if this will be the catalyst for change We'll mourn, there will be outrage, protests will be widespread, people will post on every social media site about injustice and how our society needs to evolve... But does it ever? There's been countless blatant examples of police brutality, school massacres, exposed flaws in our gun control policies... But no matter the carnage or injustice - nothing ever actually changes Call me pessimistic or a defeatist, but that's where we are as a society. It's a sad realization to think that instead of these horrors bringing change, they will be sensationalized... But forgotten as soon as the next tragedy strikes
-
Another reason to dislike American.. 😧
-
Ah, the tazer is more practical.

Modifié par The Cellar Door : 7/6/2016 9:00:31 PMDaily reminder that American police murder more American citizens than Islamic terrorists. Also, in regards to the rhetoric surrounding this issue (not this case in particular), is it ironic that the same side which wants to pour more guns into the system also justifies the amount of murders done by police by suspicion of being armed?

You know what sucks the absolute most out of all of this aside from the loss of life? How so much racism comes out of it. White extremists use it to attack black people as this violent group of unintelligent, lazy people that are beneath everybody else in this country while black extremists use it to target police or as fuel for violent riots/protests. Meanwhile, the media jumps all over it with clickbait titles any time any new information is learned and it whips everybody into angry frenzies. All that feeds back into people's minds and causes more things like this to happen.
-
I was hoping it wasnt really that, but nope. They shot a retrained man in the head. If only we had some device that electrocutes and incapacitates them. Shame.
-
It's funny, don't hear anyone screaming for gun bans... must be the subjects involved.
-
I thought you said it was a man?
-
The difference between this being murder and self defense is the pause in between the two sets of shots
-
Put down, just like Harambe.
inb4ban
Meanwhile, females in Europe are being -blam!- by Muslims who are getting away with it. With help from the Governments who arrest those who try and stop them, because 'it's their culture.'

Modifié par Woupsea : 7/7/2016 2:59:07 AMWe need to ban police officers. That was like a legit execution. :I
-
Just saw this video on facebook and i just dont understand why they shot. I support the police 100% but some of them have major issues and need to fix what they are doing.
-
He had a gun on his person and had threatened ppl with it. He resisted arrest and didn't comply initially to requests to stop and get on the ground. I guess everyone should just assume he was an upstanding citizen and had no reason to use his gun. Of course he never meant any harm and wouldn't dream of shooting the cops.....of course we were all there and know the entire story based on a cell phone video and what was going on in everyone's head.

"Victim" was probably a thug
