Universal Remote is a beast!
A few weeks ago I got the Universal Remote from a raid chest. I always said this thing was a beast!

7 Respuestas"I just can't be stopped!" I doubt that very much. You're barely breaking a a 1 K/D ratio. All I saw was a shitty gun used against even shittier players. My Hawkmoon would have you on the ground before you could aim.

Dude, Universal Remote is garbage I have a Universal Remote maxed to 300 too. Its fun, but its garbage. No difference between it and most secondary shotguns. Only if i was using a sniper rifle as my secondary would i even consider running around with it in a serious setting. If you dont use a sniper with UR your forfeiting almost all your mid to long range capabilities = Not good.

2 RespuestasI just got it last night in a Tiger Strike, so far I am not impressed with it in PVE. In the crucible I get killed with it all the time so maybe I will use it in there and join the trend of running 2 shottys

Not really. It's alright but... meh. I die more to players with good rolls of The Comedian, Invisible Hand and Hide and Seek. I love Universal Remote players because they can only use Specials. No crazy Hawkmoon or Suros Regime. Just (usually) Shotgun + Sniper Rifle. Unless they are an amazing sniper, they are free kills.

I say that all the time when I get 10+ kills in 60 seconds with a real weapon such as a handcannon or a sniper rifle.

7 RespuestasI used the UR and Light/Beware and had a monster game. 25 kills. I personally like it but you must play very wisely. Play Very Close combat and hug corridors.

2 RespuestasThe only thing about special guns as primary that got me curious was how much reserve ammo would you have. Seeing that Universal Remote is roughly the same ammo capacity as a normal Shotgun, I'm incredibly disappointed. Also the video, while yes he did in fact get a ten kill streak, the enemies practically threw themselves into the buckshot. And the last stretch was with his super so that doesn't support the potency of the gun. From this video I can conclude nothing of the effectiveness of the gun apart from the increase in dissatisfaction due to ammo capacity. As it is, it appears just as another shotgun to me and nothing truly special. I'll stick with my Suros, Invective, and Midas for now, thank you very much.

Universal Remote has potential, but as it is now it is outclassed by any shotgun with 'Aiming this weapon increases its effective range', 'Aiming this weapon reduces the projectile spread', and hammerforged with high base range.

It's by far the most fun but you have to be THIIIIISSSS close to kill someone lol so get hugging and go killing.

1 RespuestaIt was the first exotic I got. I still haven't fully upgraded it. IT would be awesome, if it was a special weapon, but as a primary, i do not like it. May be useful in PvP, I wouldn't know.

Hide and seek is better. It has similar range and doesn't take a primary or exotic spot. I have universal remote maxed out with perks and I never use it
